In a major strategic move, Indo Farm Equipment Limited (BSE: 544328, NSE: INDOFARM), a leading player in India's agricultural machinery and heavy equipment segment, has entered into a significant technology transfer agreement with Sichuan Hongsheng Heavy Machinery Co. Ltd., a globally renowned construction equipment manufacturer from China. The collaboration is facilitated through Beida Commercial & Trade Company.

Under the terms of the agreement, Indo Farm will acquire comprehensive design documentation, technical blueprints, and manufacturing expertise for Stationary Type Tower Cranes. This technology transfer marks Indo Farm’s formal entry into the highly competitive tower crane and infrastructure equipment market.

This partnership is expected to strengthen Indo Farm’s product portfolio by enabling the local manufacturing of technologically advanced tower cranes in India. It aligns with the Indian government's 'Make in India' initiative and furthers the goal of achieving technological self-reliance in critical sectors.

    Commenting on the development, Mr.

Shubham Khadwalia, Head of Construction Equipment at Indo Farm, said,
"This collaboration with Sichuan Hongsheng is a game-changer for Indo Farm. Access to world-class tower crane technology will significantly enhance our manufacturing capabilities, enabling us to offer globally benchmarked products with the benefits of local service support and cost efficiencies. This strategic move will allow us to cater to the evolving needs of India’s booming infrastructure sector more effectively."

With India's infrastructure and real estate sectors witnessing rapid growth, driven by projects such as Smart Cities, affordable housing initiatives, and large-scale transportation networks, the demand for modern construction equipment like tower cranes is projected to rise sharply over the next decade.

Through this partnership, Indo Farm aims to capture a significant share of this emerging market by offering reliable, efficient, and competitively priced tower cranes tailored to Indian working conditions and project requirements.

The company’s entry into the tower crane segment reinforces its commitment to innovation, technology leadership, and support for India's infrastructure ambitions.
